The Island's New Digs

This will be short, I promise! I have a tendency to treat island visitors like best friends I lure to the island with pink, capture with froo-froo words, tie up with pretty ribbon, tape their mouths with zebra print painter's tape(it DOES exist, ya know), and force to listen while I go on and on about...well, nothing... I'd apologize but... well, a Skinny Caramel Macchiato's got my tongue! Have you had one?! YOU SHOULD, they are so yummified!

SO IDK if I've mentioned how pleased I am with the island's new layout...

<-- See those polka dots? And that PINK! Or the pretty little scrolly-like blog name. UGH, I just love it. I truly TRULY do. This whole bloggy thing is teaching me a lot about myself... It takes a little dose of pretty to inspire me... So, let's circle back, blogging takes serious commitment so being proud of the area that is an e-representation of who I am means a lot. I want to be consistent with blogging so, if it ONLY takes a few polka dots, frilly font, and lots of pink then SO BE IT! For those of you who feel the same but don't have the know-how or patience to make your e-room pretty...Do just as I did and hire a designer... She worked with me and came up with several options based on my inaugural post to design a blog that fit my needs...I picked everything from the size of the dots to the shade of pink and the was an awesome experience and REALLY surprisingly AFFORDABLE. Check her out here.

Well, just a quick one as promised, I've got to get to getting... I just hope you're as happy to visit as I'm as happy to stay... Here, on Fabulous Island!

Well, I couldn't let you go without a tidbit of party or craft or decor or food... So, speaking of all things PINK... So, there's pretty much this awesome new children's book about a little girl named PINKALICIOUS.  Not going into details but you can imagine...too many pink cupcakes make a pink-loving little lady TURN pink... the story and its images lend amazing inspiration for a little event for a little group of little ladies... I can't give you details until hubby approves so shhhhh!!
