Bridal Shower Fun

Things are getting crazy around these parts in preparation for upcoming events.

This weekend, however, was beautiful.  I was busy and tired and did plenty of running around.  I did, however, also take a moment to attend a lovely bridal shower for my Rustic Wedding bride (more on her event here).

Her aunt hosted the party on her beautiful property and it was a great day!

Between the pool, the horses, the breeze and the food, it was a perfect day to celebrate our beautiful (and silly) bride:

My only task was to pick-up a cake.  I went to Ms. Joy and she didn't disappoint! I sent her a picture of the icing technique I found online:

I asked for a 2-tier cake with no decorations.  I purchased some grocery store flowers and a $.50 wooden letter from Michael's to create a fab little cake topper on the cheap:

I had a great time AND I upheld my reputation for worst picture taker ever, lol.

Eyes? CLOSED.

UGH!

Here's hoping for a fabulous week! Come back for awesome Easter activities and ideas :)

  1. Hello Tabby, I've been a Blog tourist of yours for some time. Love it!! The frosting on the cake and the idea for the topper is why you're my Shero, lol. Great post.
