Day 17 - Trading Places

I do a lot around the house and I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel like most things go unnoticed.  I believe Hubbs and Munch think toilet paper just appears on the roll.  They have no idea how much it costs or how often it's purchased.  So, every now and then, I like to just. stop.

Recently, I had Hubbs do Zion's hair.  That's right, he did it.  See, the time it requires to comb her hair into ponytails adds 20 minutes to my daily routine.  I don't know about you but I like to sleep and that extra 20 minutes makes a huge difference for me!  It's 20 minutes that he never has to sacrifice.
After 10 minutes, her hair didn't look much better than it did before he started.

Clearly, both parties learned sometimes it's not as easy as Mama makes it look!

Hubbs and I are still figuring out how to better distribute the home responsibilities.  I learned that he can never be on hair duty, lol.

How do you divide the chores?  Do you have any funny stories of daddy hairstyles to share?  Leave a comment!

I loves me some comments, lol :)

  2. lol this is cute! I think all of us girls can say that our Dads have tried to do our hair at some point. My story was when my mom took a vacation with her NY family and that left my dad to take care of me and my bro. He had to do my hair...he pulled my hair so freaking tight, I thought I was going to die lol. Man, I had the worst headache...never again!!! I learned how to do my own hair after that lol!!!
